CONTEXT
The Genesis X Gran Berlinetta Concept represents the ultimate expression of Genesis’s ‘Athletic Elegance’ design philosophy. The objective of this internal R&D film project was to integrate Unreal Engine real-time rendering with advanced AI visualization, rendering the hypercar’s high-performance emotion and distinct silhouette across a dynamic urban landscape.
CHALLENGE
The main challenge lay in establishing a hybrid pipeline that seamlessly merged Unreal Engine’s driving sequences with AI-generated vehicle details, character elements, and spatial layers. It was crucial to maintain absolute visual precision—ensuring signature details like the Two-Lines lighting, Magma orange hue, and sweeping fastback lines remained sharp and iconic during high-speed drifts and aggressive camera movement.
SOLUTION
We utilized Unreal Engine to construct the structured cityscape, capturing high-speed sprints and dynamic drift sequences, while integrating AI-generated vehicle visualization and character visuals to enhance the narrative rhythm. By isolating the interplay of city light along the muscular shoulders and rear light signatures, the film transcends conventional CG limitations, visualizing the bold performance potential of the Genesis brand. -

제네시스 X 그란 베를리네타 콘셉트는 브랜드의 디자인 철학인 '역동적인 우아함'을 극대화한 하이퍼카 콘셉트 모델입니다. 본 R&D 필름 프로젝트의 목적은 언리얼 엔진(Unreal Engine) 기반의 도심 렌더링과 차세대 AI 비주얼라이제이션 기술을 결합하여, 가속하고 질주하는 제네시스의 고성능 감성과 독보적인 차체 라인을 하이엔드 영상으로 시각화하는 것이었습니다.

언리얼 엔진으로 구축한 도심 주행 씬과, 생성형 AI 기술로 구현한 차량 외관 디테일 및 인물, 공간 레이어를 어색함 없이 유기적으로 매칭하는 융합 파이프라인 수립이 핵심 과제였습니다. 특히 다이내믹한 주행 모션 속에서도 제네시스 특유의 두 줄(Two-Lines) 라이팅, 마그마 오렌지 컬러, 패스트백 형태의 미학적 디테일이 정밀하게 전달되도록 시각적 완성도를 확보해야 했습니다.

우리는 언리얼 엔진을 활용해 도심 레이아웃과 고속 주행, 긴장감 넘치는 드리프트 모션을 리얼타임으로 연출하고, AI 생성 기법을 통해 차량의 섬세한 디테일과 인물, 공간 비주얼을 교차 배치하며 정교한 미학적 리듬을 구축했습니다. 차체 숄더 라인에 반사되는 도심의 빛과 후면부 듀얼 라이트 그래픽을 정밀하게 포착함과 동시에, 실제 도로 위를 가르는 듯한 몰입감을 연출하여 제네시스가 지향하는 고성능 퍼포먼스의 대담한 가능성을 시각화했습니다.
